For me this is the best option if you want to experience the local flavor of Oaxaca while in Puerto Escondido. Ask for the meal of the day. My favorite meal is the grilled cheese

Best restaurant in Puerto Escondido for authentic food. Everything here is absolutely delicious. Their menu changes daily depending on whats available, and the best stuff (barbacoa and mole) definitely sells out fast. The plates are very reasonably priced at 30-50 pesos each. Drinks are around 10-30 pesos. Location of this place is awesome too, they're right in the city center (which is far from the beach), but next to all the quaint store shops where you can pick up some fresh chocolate, mole, fruits, and more. The Benito Juarez market is just a few blocks down the road as well.

De los mejores lugares para comer en puerto escondido. La comida bastante rica y sus precios muy accesibles. Deben probar el mole y el chorizo en cualquiera de sus presentaciones, y el café de olla.

Siempre que visito Puerto Escondido no dudo en comer en este lugar. Los precios son muy asequibles y la comida tiene muy buen sabor. Lo recomienda ampliamente, siempre hay tortillas a mano y platillos típicos que en otros lugares están mas caros aquí están en 40 y 70 pesos.
