We sampled five main plates along with vegetarian rice and piles of delicious Nan Bread. My wife's favorite was the Butter Chicken which she rates highly. We had a beef curry that was great and I have lost the names of the other plates. Basically they were all great and we licked the platters clean (that is a metaphorical statement|). We drank |Mango Losas and lemonades, I don't know if they serve alcohol.
Not to be missed for that change of pace or more accurately not to be missed while in Oaxaca. This is a real treat. The service was excellent. Very attentive and accommodating.
I have lived and traveled all over the world, and have eaten some of the best (and worst) food that the globe has to offer. Indian food is my absolute favorite, and Taj Mahal has shot up to #1 on that list. I have never had better Indian food in my LIFE. The chana masala was incredible and the jalfrezi sauce literally made me cry tears of joy. I cannot believe I didn't know about this place sooner, and now that I do, I'll be eating regularly at their location near the Zocalo. If you're in town for a week, a month, or a year - GO HERE or you will be missing out on some of the best food of your life.
