Schönes Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente, insbesondere bei Sonnenuntergang im Wintergarten. Alle Fischgerichte waren ausgezeichnet, ebenso die Beilagen – alles frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Das Servicepersonal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Eine definitive Empfehlung, wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Service: Vor Ort essen.

Absolute no go. Super unfriendly staff. After our last visit last year, which was great all around, we were happy to stop there again today. However, this time we were greeted in the most unpleasant way. We were traveling with the camper and wanted to walk a few meters further to a small green area with our dog after the long drive. Two employees immediately shouted at us that the parking lot was only for guests. Even after we explained that we plan to eat there in a few minutes, we continued to be treated very rudely. After this incident, we understandably didn't want to leave our money there anymore (we love good food we are happy to give a good tip, at least 10% since we ourselves are/were active in gastronomy). We then decided to eat at the Morgarten restaurant. The service the food was phenomenal. The staff at Buechwaldli should definitely learn a lesson from that. Never again!

After a strenuous hike by 34 young at heart men halfway around Lake Ägeri, we stopped at the Buechwäldli restaurant and it was an excellent decision! The warm and inviting guest room offered just the right atmosphere to relax after the snowy tour. The menu was excellent: the fish crispies were an absolute delight. Everything went smoothly from reception to service and the serving staff impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. A big thank you to the entire team!
