Contribuisci feedbackI've been here for several decades. Even though the owner has changed again and again, I have never had bad experiences. Despite matching card this evening, the selection was more than large enough and the food delicious. The service was good and accommodating. There was nothing to put out here. In other prices I have read from bad service and small portions. I can't confirm that. And that prices rise... that's a general theme and not specific to a restaurant.
We've been going to steak for years. The taste is still very good, but the prices have strongly attracted and the portions have become smaller. Price/performance is no longer true for us now.
We had ordered food for 4 people for Sunday, 28.03.21, with pick-up at 1 pm. I was there at 12:50 a.m., the food was already at the entrance on the table (not as usual for keeping warm in the kitchen). There were two dish dishes, which were filled in aluminium bowls and were placed transversely in the bag. In the grill plate, the meat was placed on the pommes, so that they became soft and ugly, so inedible. Since the one dish had completely expired (unfortunately found at home) and was mixed in the bag with the napkins, it was called to the restaurant, then I wanted to go on to the one who packed it, but instead of reporting it was laid in a hurry. A new call was then unfriendlyly answered that it must have been on the car, but not on the wrong one and it would then be done new, but I should bring the old one to see it. So again, the chef standing outside, who already said with unfriendly tone: Show me, I want to see . then he said that something happens when you pick it up yourself and don't look after it when driving. Although I pointed out several times that the plates were packed in the bag, rather than horizontally, he denied this very unfriendly and did it with the words: Come in, you get new and finished otherwise, where you were allowed to eat, we were still satisfied, but so we said that was the last time we were there and ordered something.
We weren't here for the first time. But for the last time. Visit on the first Christmas day 2019 with 7 people (attended at a table with space for 6 people). Two followers had to remember the drinks you ordered three times. The exchange of supplements (croquets against French fries) was denied. That wouldn't make the kitchen for Christmas. We are talking about frittiergut, which on this day has migrated kilos through the frituse. Proposal of service: you can exchange with one another. That's a creative idea. The normal card was severely shrunk. Many high-priced dishes remained the rest (many with fillet of poultry, pig in various combinations). In contrast to the normal card, these were raised by at least 2 € in the price. The preliminary soup and dessert did not justify this surcharge. The preliminary soup was delicious. Dessert was cheap. The rich vanilla ice cream included many ice crystals. In the main dishes it was not possible to reach the 7 portions in a timely manner. A guest had to wait for his food for more than five minutes, all the others already being supplied. It should be noted that his ordered court has already been awarded identically to a family member. In short, the pommes were pre-fried and then cooled and thrown back into the hot fat. Delicious is different. 4 persons had bovine fillets in their court. At three of them the meat was extremely tough. A roughing was dispensed with at the turn. The service wanted to pass on dissatisfaction about quality but to the kitchen. The portions were partly very clear. The quality delivered was very questionable for the required price. It should also be mentioned that on this day, according to the friendly service, the guests were divided into four layers for food. So maximum utilisation with maximum profit. It's a pity that apparently profited from customer satisfaction. If you like such a lot of guests, you should be able to satisfy them. There was also no baggage to the house (one remembers the surcharge). When leaving the restaurant, you were appreciated as well as no view. Not to mention a passing. That's what you've seen, even at full restaurant, elsewhere. A full-seated restaurant: everything in all a disappointing visit. A return has moved with today's experience far away...
Our favorite restaurant, we've been going to all kinds of occasions for a few years or just there. Food, service, ambience and prices all top. Very happy 5 stars.
