Pousada de Castelo - Óbidos

Absolutely excellent: excellent service, excellent view and excellent meals. both for breakfast and dinner. for dinner we chose the meals included in the stay: local meals. the other options did not sound locally and fusion americanized meals. if they are looking for a meal. in óbidos, they should consider how we come back and we already miss it.

We were in the castelo for several nights, so we had only the free breakfast. it was fantastic, with a great guy in responsibility.

The restaurant isn't that big but its been furnished to retain its centuries old feel. The food served is really nice and the portions are large. The staff are friendly and professional. A nice dining experience.

We visited the pousada 14 years ago and wanted to relive the experience. We booked the restaurant online through Tripadvisor but unfortunately it is closed due to the Covid pandemic. A pity that this is not mentioned even after a year.

Visited restaurant for lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the excellent service. In addition, as with most of the dining in Portugal is was relatively inexpensive for the meal. would definitely recommend for a nice sitdown lunch or dinner expecially...with the beautiful views
