I purchased the "two courses for 15.50" Groupon deal, so this review is based solely on that price point. The lamb was tender and the bordelaise sauce was delicious. The icy drink I had was refreshing. The restaurant is located within the British Museum and the facility is beautiful with large stone walls, curves, and stone tables. I would definitely recommend eating here, especially for the Groupon price.

The British museum for high tee. easy to reserve and was decent. we had a glass bubbly and had a good selection of scenes, sandwiches and sweets. the tee was also very good. the only part is that they throw them out when the museum is close. they give themselves time.

Nothing special, but inevitable, when you visit the British museum for the day, this is the great court restaurant in the British museum. this was one of the few options if we wanted to be safe for visiting the British museum instead of asking for the quarter to look for a decent restaurant. there are big queues to midday, so they better make a reservation before. the service is relatiw fast, even during the most visited hours, but eating is nothing special, and is not as smart as its quality would suggest. yet a good choice for an hour to and before the millions of artifacts in the museum to rest.

Did not expect the greatest since after all it’s in a museum. Service was rather poor and completely inattentive. You wait a while till you are even asked. Then you get the dish and that’s it, except if he has forgotten to bring the plates. The Afternoon Tea is not really worth it. The toastbread is dry and some of the ingredients have no taste or not the one you expect. Sweet are mainly sweet. I think they know it because they’re not surprised if you leave stuff and they definitely don’t ask. Tea excellent. But no second. If you feel like having a small bite, just do that, get one or two small dishes. But don’t waste it a set tea.
