One of the owners went off to jail, and it started to slip as the remaining owner could not run it himself, it seemed. From two to three nites a week, it became so poor, that I left the crowd, and walked home. Several years passed and It changed locations, and ownership.
This restaurant/employees/food is amazing. How anyone would have negative ratings is unclear to me. They are friendly and the food is awesome and its very comfortable inside.
We had a group of about 14 and the service was outstanding, the food great. We all enjoyed it and will be back often. It is a little hidden treasure here in Ocala.
I went to this resturaunt and it was horrible...First off when i went in it smelt like smoke, second the waiter or whatever he was, was being totally un professional, and third i found a hair in my pizza and in my wifes food there was some questionable things as well. I honestly would NOT recomend this place at ALL. I asked the waiter very poliltely what he could do about it and basically they did nothing. Did not live up to any of the standards I have heard.
My wife and I visited this Mom and Pop Italian Restaurant because we had heard that they had amazing Italian food. Well, I was honestly not prepared for how good this food was. I had the chicken parmigiana and my wife had the chicken and spinach ravioli (similar to Carrabba's Mezeluna). The table across from us had the 18 pizza and would not stop raving about how it was the best pizza they had every eaten. We both were amazed at how good the food was. We both use to work at Carrabba's about six years ago and ate there all the time because of the discount. I can tell you that the quality of food is better and the service is also better. The owner came to our table and talked to us several times. The place is small but is well worth a trip. Please don't take my word for it. Eat there for yourself and make up your own mind. But I tell you, if you like Italian food I am confident you will like Fiore's Cafe.
