Contribuisci feedbackThis breakfast spot is fantastic! The portion sizes are ideal for big appetites, and you definitely get your money's worth. The food tastes amazing; however, the service was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure what went wrong that day, but it was quite poor, and surprisingly, it wasn’t even busy. We didn’t have to wait, but our server ended up forgetting our drinks, side orders, and even our bill. It took us a long time to finally leave, and we weren’t offered drinks to go or takeout boxes either.
Additionally, the church crowd created a hassle by pushing tables at the end of booths, blocking access for more courteous customers. The restaurant is also situated in a less desirable area of town. While the service was decent, we won’t be returning.
Sheina G truly made my morning! It's been a challenging week, but her kindness, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond really made a difference. Yes, it's just a restaurant, but the little things really matter. You’re lucky to have someone like her on your team. The service was quick, and the food was amazing as always. Thank you!
This was my first visit to Keke’s. I really enjoyed the excellent, caring service. My eggs Benedict was outstanding!
My experience happened on 07/29/23. It was my father in laws birthday and my wife wanted to take him to a new place for brunch. Based on Googles reviews, she chose Kekes. When we got there we liked the atmosphere and the place appearance. We were seated right away, so we loved the fact that we didn't have to wait to be accommodated. Now, the waitress assigned to us is the main reason this review is negative and furthermore, I'm not going back to that place again. She treated us very unprofessional and was rude, not even a smile or a kind word. She made us feel rushed when ordering, and her face would show how displeased she was by taking our order. We were able to compare how she treated nearby tables differently. Note that we have Hispanic complexity, but still, my father in law is a veteran, my wife is a Registered Nurse and I am also a professional. I mention this because it seemed like racism. It was a racist behavior, and I can say this based on the treatment other tables around us received from the same waitress. Additionally, we noticed how the time went by, other tables that came after us ate and left and we were still sitting there, just with the drinks. I decided to call her and ask why our food was taking so long. She stated she misplaced our order and it would take longer for us to be served. Needless to say that after this, my family was very upset. Apparently, a manager realized the situation and offered the food to be free due to our unpleasant experience. The waitress came to the table and apologized for the inconvenience. I can recognize that the food was good, I can appreciate the fact that the management decided to handle this situation by offering the food at no cost, but still my family and my friends are not going back to this place. The waitress behavior made this place lose at least a few customers. I understand we all have bias, specially about nationalities, but I've heard my wife telling me stories about how may lives she saved at the hospital, but never mentioned the color of the skin or the nationality appearance of the many people she's saved. When you have a profession that works with/for people you shouldn't show your bias, otherwise, find a different job. I took my family on a special occasion to enjoy and celebrate, wasn't looking for a free meal, just the respect and professional attitude from the service people and didn't find it here.
