Turnpike Mike's Bistro And Pub - Ocala

Our first visit to Turnpike Mikes was amazing! Danielle was our server and she is ingenious, she makes us great recommendations for apps, entrees and dessert, she is full of energy and enjoys what she does and is a great person. We ordered cold beers, pizza dog, i95 cheese steak, chili cheese wheels and egg roll cheese cakes better I am than the Turnpike Barrikade. The pizza dog was tasty and the whole beef dog is good, the cheese steak sandwich is tender and full when taste with all steak, paprika onions and cheese on a toast subroll but the Turnpike barricade cheesecake Egg roll was so crispy, sweet and diving in the Savory Marmelade was so damn good!!!! We will be completely back as ALL the staff friendly, fun and made our visit to the top amazing.

This place is amazing! Been waiting to eat here since before it opened, when it was just a food truck. The wait was worth it! Great portions and even greater flavor! I highly recommend the Bronx bomber. The staff was friendly and the ambiance in the place is so relaxing. 10/10 would eat here again!

Amazing decor/atmosphere and staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Food is fantastic and priced reasonably. Portions are massive. You NEED to try Turnpikes Mike's. It would be an injustice to yourself not to explore this hidden treasure. I highly recommend the Turnpike sub, it is SUB-perbly wonderful. The hotdogs remind me of the ones growing up in NYC. Nostalgia to the max.

Huge sandwiches, and bigger subs! Bring your appetite, because they don't skimp on size here. Prices are reasonable, especially for what you get. There are a few seats outside, and one big table inside. Inside is clean, staff is friendly. They are bringing parts of Jersey food to Florida, and the best part is.... they have good sweet tea!

Very big sandwiches. Very nice staff, everyone was friendly and happy. A half sandwich on the menu could easily be shared, which is what we will do next time due to the higher than normal prices compared to other sub places in the area. They do pile on the meat though. Great local craft beer selection as well.
