Albatross - Ocean Beach

Ugh. Long wait, unbearably loud, mediocre food, not cheap. Literally nothing to love about the Albatross. If you do come, get an outside table and you can at least enjoy the weather. Or grill at home!

Albatross doesn't take reservations, so we went on the early side and had no problem getting a table on Julyv4. The grilled salmon was perfectly prepared and among the best we've had comparable to high end restaurants. The hot honey chicken sandwich special was crispy and flavorful and should join the regular menu. Finally, the grilled chicken caesar was tender and nicely dressed. We will definitely return on our next trip to Fire Island. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
