Mother's is easily among the best restaurants in the area. Great Mexican food is a rare find on the East Coast this is it. Simple, delicious, family style food. The live music on weekends adds to the atmosphere, and the drinks are genuinely good. Highly recommend.

We LOVE mothers! And this was our first time at their second location. We took advantage of their happy hour on a SUNDAY and had 2 rounds of margaritas for everyone in our group. What a deal for $5! We also got a few tacos $4 per each) and really loved their fried fish tacos the best. Heed the warnings from the reviewer below, about the sour cream- our waitress asked if we wanted sour cream with our tacos and were charged for MULTIPLE 50 cent sour cream sides and had no idea this was extra. Would've been nice to know, but I do like my sour cream. The chorizo nachos were also delish, will be back as always next time!

By far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. My family went there for dinner while on vacation and we will most definitely be going back when we visit again next year. Staff was super friendly as well. All around great experience. Will be order there hot sauce as well to have at home!
