My son and I decided to check out this stylish taco spot tonight, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The atmosphere was open and inviting, featuring skate videos and great music, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Now, let’s talk about the most important part—the food. We both ordered the three crunchy taco meal; my son opted for beef while I went for the veggie option. Let me tell you, it was so delicious that I couldn't finish mine! The blend of flavors was spot on and far from your typical taco fare. We're thrilled and can't wait to return next time we're in town to explore more of the menu. This place is a fantastic addition to the boardwalk's dining options and fills a much-needed niche.

We settled on chips and guacamole, along with three tacos. We had a variety of meats to choose from, but I opted for the classic beef. After selecting the meat, I needed to choose the type of taco shell. I initially thought it would be straightforward since I preferred a hard shell. However, I learned that they offered both corn and flour options, with flour being the more popular choice. I went with the flour shell, and it turned out to be a great decision. The guacamole was fresh, and the warm chips had just the right amount of extra salt, just how I like them. The taco was delightful as well, filled with meat, cheese, and fresh salsa—much better than the jarred salsa offered at some other places. Overall, Blue Cactus turned out to be an excellent option. The food was tasty, affordable, and the restaurant was clean.

I visited Ocean City, NJ for the first time and discovered this restaurant multiple times before finally stopping in. It was absolutely amazing! The place is clean and well-maintained, and the lady at the counter was incredibly helpful and polite. My food arrived hot and ready to eat. If you're adventurous with flavors, definitely try their sauces—but be warned, they're not for the faint of heart! I can't wait to come back!
