Longboard Cafe - Ocean City

The ambiance is ideal, the cuisine is superb, BUT it is truly disheartening that a restaurant centered around surfing would serve beverages in plastic cups. Single-use plastic, seriously? This does not support efforts to preserve our oceans. It is difficult to fathom the amount of waste they generate from this practice.

The recently renovated Longboard Cafe now features a fantastic new bar. The staff was friendly and provided perfect service. We absolutely enjoyed our shrimp tacos (excellent), Longboard wings with addiction sauce (the best wings around), Longboard margarita (with pomegranite-yum), and the new-fashioned Whiskey drink - all of which were AWESOME. We were even given wetnaps with silverware for our wings! We will definitely be returning soon. We also loved the other items on the menu.

Service was good and quick ! It was really busy and thought we would have to wait but we got seated right away ! Menu is pricey even for some basic things but the Wings are amazing! Fries were ok prob wouldn’t order again though . I really like the green beans too !!

DELICIOUS!! Five stars! We had the appetizer sampler and it was to die for. I have never had a sampler and enjoyed each item on the plate…. and the dipping sauces were AMAZING! Drinks were on point as well! I’ll be back!

We tried to grab dinner at Longboard Café last October during Cruise Week but unfortunately walked in around closing time. So glad we finally got to eat here this evening during the May Cruisin ' Ocean City! Few notes: If you have a low car, you may want to park on the street as the parking lot grade isn 't low friendly. We were seated right away by the hostess who unfortunately didn 't seem to be having a good day (young woman, hair in a blonde bun). She wasn 't rude but was definitely not willing to engage in polite chitchat. Not a big deal, but it 's always nice to feel welcome at an establishment. Thankfully, the rest of our dining experience was fantastic! Zack, our server, was perfect friendly, professional and very attentive. We never had to look for him for a drink refill, he was on it! He is a gem, hopefully management sees this. The restaurant decor is lovely. Definitely an upscale beachy feel. Bright, clean and open. The food. Oh my goodness, the FOOD. Do yourself a favor and get the chips and kitchen sink (salsa, guacamole and queso with tortilla chips). The guacamole alone was out of this world. Tasted very fresh and paired perfectly with the lightly salted chips. My boyfriend had a Swiss cheese and mushroom burger that was messy and delicious. I enjoyed the beyond burger with fries (added some of the leftover guacamole from our appetizer) and my tastebuds were singing hallelujah. All for $57! Thank you Longboard Café for a lovely dinner.
