Piccini Wood Fired Brick Oven Pizza

We had to request a larger table that would accommodate our group better. The food was decent, but not remarkable, and we were never offered any drink refills. Additionally, we were charged $4 for a side salad, even though the menu listed it at $3. A note to the staff: you never know who might be dining in your restaurant, so please greet your customers with a smile and show some customer service skills, regardless of your personal feelings about the job. To the owners: if you don’t want to operate as a dine-in restaurant, perhaps you shouldn’t. The space is too cramped to make dining in comfortable for your guests!

The salad and pizza were decent. However, I'm giving a 2-star review because the chicken piccata with crab meat was priced at $31, and it only contained one tiny piece of crab. I understand that inflation is a factor, but if they can't afford to provide a proper serving of crab in this dish, they shouldn't include it on the menu at all. I ended up spending $31 on two bland chicken cutlets, some button mushrooms, and a few asparagus spears.

This is truly one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. The thin crust is fantastic, and they use a wood-fired oven, which is far superior to coal-fired as it doesn't get too hot and burn the crust. The toppings on the Piccini Special were exceptional. Be prepared for a large crowd during dinner time; it's best to visit either before or after the rush. Plus, our waitress even recommended a local mechanic for fixing my flat tire.

The pizza wasn't bad, but it could've had more zip in the way of Italian seasonings. Crust was a little bland, but the crispiness was nice. Caesar salads were nice and fresh. Staff was very friendly and the service was very good. Overall, it wasn't bad, but we still prefer the atmosphere of Lonbardi's in Ocean City MD
