Victorian Room - Ocean City

I stayed at Dunes Manor, which is a fantastic hotel, but unfortunately, my breakfast experience at this restaurant before leaving was disappointing. We waited for ten minutes to be seated while several staff members passed by without acknowledging us. I ordered eggs and scrapple—the eggs were slightly overcooked but still acceptable (they're just eggs), but the scrapple was incredibly soggy and unappetizing. Overall, it was a waste of money.

We really enjoy visiting the bar and restaurant whenever we stay at The Dunes. While it is on the pricier side, it’s no more expensive than some of the large, crowded restaurants in the area. The food is fantastic – we've never had a dish we didn't love. There's always a table available on the deck with views of the ocean. The service is excellent, and they are also dog-friendly!

This evening my wife and I had the finest crab cake dinner either of us have ever had. We have lived in Washington DC for over 30 years and are very familiar with crab in every form from Kent Narrows, Baltimore and the DC Metro area. A huge shoutout to Joe who told us this was his family recipe. His crab cakes are absolutely superb, large and perfectly prepared. Do yourself a big favor and order the crab cake dinner; you will leave. With a smile on your face!

We dined in 2 nights and got take out one night during our stay in the hotel. The food was excellent and the service was adequate even with being extremely understaffed. The menu, while not very large, does provide for a nice variety of food choices and prices. Lovely view of the ocean from our seats.

It was absolutely beautiful, clean, and a beautiful view of the ocean. my son got married there oh, and we had an absolutely great time. The people were very friendly oh, and they also had a gift shop in the hotel. It was a great experience!!!
