Yianni's Cafe - Ocean City

I had higher expectations for a Greek restaurant compared to my usual local spots. Paying $14 for 4 vegan chicken fingers seemed pricey. The vegan burger was served cold. We had to wait over 25 minutes before our waitress returned to take our payment, even though the restaurant was not very busy.

I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan quesadillas at this Greek restaurant. I didn't have high expectations, but they exceeded them. Although I wish they offered vegan sour cream, I was glad to have brought my own. The salad was good as well. It's not easy to find restaurants that advertise their vegan options, so it can be tough being the only vegan in a group of hungry people. Hopefully this review helps someone else in a similar situation!

We ate at this restaurant twice while at Ocean City. It was highly recommended to us by a passerby on the street. Lunch was pretty good. I got the chicken salad wrap. It was good but the chicken salad was almost a puree. It was kind of a weird texture but tasted good. There is only one bathroom/toilet and it was occupied most of the time. I used their hand sanitizer and it was so sticky that I had to wash it off my hands. The waitress let me wash my hands at the bar because the bathroom was occupied. I really appreciated that. Service was friendly and prompt. We ate breakfast there the next day and it was awesome. They have outdoor seating as well. We definitely recommend it and will eat here again when at Ocean City.

I had the California Burger and it was amazing. It was very large but very tasty. The fries were okay, but definitely did not match the quality of the burger. Beyond that, the menu had just about every type of food around, from smoothies, to sandwiches, to gyros. The staff was also very friendly. Overall, great restaurant. Edit: came back a year later and got the three cheese quesadilla and I enjoyed it. I do think that they put way too much onion on it, so maybe ask for light onion if you order it.

Fantastic experience. Food was amazing and the service was top notch. Mel was our server and she did great.
