The waitstaff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was very laid-back. The menu offered similar choices to most Thai restaurants. We inquired about a separate vegan menu, and while there isn't one, they mentioned that almost everything can be made vegan upon request when taking your order. We tried the Panang curry and the peanut rice bowl, and both were delicious!
Note: This review is from a visit back in November of 2019. I randomly thought about this trip and realized I never did a HappyCow. As someone who grew up going to Seabrook (and Ocean Shores), there is something very nostalgic about the area. However, after going vegan, it was a nightmare to get a decent meal. My family and I stopped here, and when I walked in, I asked if they had vegan options, where I was instantly reassured and given a menu. I ended up getting Pad See Ew (i think it’s been a while) but whatever I got was delicious! My dish was filled with fresh veggies and tasty noodles— definitely a gem for the area. I know I took a picture, but I can’t find it; if I do, I will upload it!
Lots of tasty options. The Chiang Mai Carlos was great. Pad Thai was tasty and a big portion and the yellow curry was great. The Rama noodles had shrimp for the meat eater, but was good, and could likely be made with tofu instead. After four years in Bangkok this was the first Thai food I had and was not disappointed. A little pricey but the portions make up for it and the flavors also.
Nice choice in Ocean Shores. I ordered the Pad Thai vegan friendly which was ok. The next day I ordered the Panang curry which was absolutely delicious. Would definitely return if in the area.
