An amazingly complex Mexican restaurant hidden off the beaten trail. The parking lot was PACKED and yet we walked in and got a table immediately. Chips were great and fresh. Salsa was super double tasty. Had the biggest burrito 'California burrito ' I 've ever seen and it was crazy good. Great service and food came out quickly. Hard to beat the value you get here and I 'm adding it as one of my Go To places for Mexican food in D 'Iberville.
I have been here a few times. I’m glad I kept trying because the first time I went I did not have a great experience. I got the enchiladas and definitely not anything to write home about. Then I went and got the Molcajete and OMG it is fabulous. They also have an amazing frozen margarita with champagne that is beyond amazing. I think about this drink all the time and how I want more of it. Both times I went great service. They have this amazing bean dip that they serve with their chips and salsa, I always get a second order of it. My son has gotten the nachos every time and loves it. They don’t skimp on any toppings. I will keep going back mostly for the Molcajete in frozen margarita.
Wow what a great place. I usually get the norm. A taco or burrito. But this time I tried something new. I asked Jessica our server about a pineapple burrito. She said it was wonderful. With some hesitation i tried it.. man o man it was amazing and a great price. Thank you Jessica!!! If you like Mexican you need to go.
Exceptional flavor, generous portions at a reasonable price. Please know that they are understaffed, and extremely popular, so will have to wait longer than you probably prefer, but the quality of the food makes up for the inconvenience. I had the 'create your own ' combo with a chicken enchilada, chicken soft taco and a chicken burrito with a side of rice and beans for $9.99. My husband had the El Rincon enchiladas topped with steak for $10.99. The chips and salsa were also delicious.
