El Saltillo Mexican - Ocean Springs

Never had a bad experience here. AMAZING MEXICAN FOOD at a really affordable price, unless you're my friend and I. LOL. So excited for the Pascagoula opening so I don't have to drive as far. The food is great, the staff is always friendly, and here'swhere my friend and I ruin it's affordability; Margaritas. SADLY this location only had one glass for the 60oz Margarita. BUTlast trip we learned we could get a pitcher. OH BOY, he's a terrible influence on me. BEFORE moving down to MS, rarely drank,like less than once a year. After moving, do a lot of it. By the way, I ordered the 60oz and he ordered the pitcher. I finishedthe 60oz without issue and then we killed the half gallon pitcher of it. (which is only 64oz). The waiter was great, when hebrought out the giant margarita, the novelty sized one and saw it was for a short man, had that thing downed in like 10minutes. ALCOHOLISM aside, their margaritas are great and so is their food. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. Also, SUPERCONSISTENT QUALITY between locations. Which there's like 5 of them and I think I've been to 3 of them. And I learned you canorder margaritas by the pitcherful. NEAT!!!

Excellent Mexican food. Very low priced for the scenery and service. Waiter was very good and knowledgeable of the menu. This is one of our favorites in the Biloxi/Ocean Springs area!

Have eaten here approximately 20 years. Lunches, dinner 's, anniversaries, graduations, family gatherings, a friend or two... sometimes alone. Enjoyed well prepared food...good tea but the straws are ALWAYS too short. Barely stick above tea level. Gooddesserts. (Note the restroom could be cleaner... hand soap would be nice) BUT LAST FINAL VISIT there a misunderstandingbetween the (nice) waiter myself which they handled completely wrong caused an unfortunate scene. I sat not touching anything asked for what I had pointed to. The gentleman did not speak or understand English very well. I AM NOT PREJUDICE by anymeasure my very large family is multiracial. The manager comes to the table tells me I ordered 16. Again I explain I POINTEDto my selection. 16, 15,, 82,or 9....pointed with my finger! He kept insisting I received the right meal. He got louder louder EVEN TELLING my guest (I always pay the bill too tip well... I 've done this work too in my earlier life). My guest juststared at him in disbelief. I was so UNNECESSARILY embarrassed insulted over a simple dinner misunderstanding. Irarely....only 2 times in my life... have 'asked ' , not complained, about a meal. I didn 't want a free meal. I asked for thecorrect one which even cost more in a respectable manner as my mother taught me. I sat as my guest ate. My dinner sat untouched.I paid the ENTIRE BILL in a respectful manner thanked the cashier. I tipped the waiter we had. They didn 't offer to replacethe dinner nor deduct the cost of it. This simply shows the character of the manager. I simply will not go again.

Food is always delicious, service is always fantastic, everyone there has always been super nice. Our favorite place to eat out.

Ohmygoodness! So delicious as always!! They are never stingy on the steak for the steak nachos and the quesidillas! And their shrimp tacos are amazing as well! And very reasonably priced, with great service!
