Jalapeño Grill - Ocean Springs

This is a great Mexican restaurant. It is not far off I 10 at exit 50.. the parking lot is clean. The inside was very clean.. I went for lunch. They even offer an express lunch. If you are in a hurry, the food was hot and delicious. The atmosphere was very good. The weight staff was exceptionally prompt and took care of all my needs. They offer many daily specials along with their lunch menu, and of course happy hour. Chips and salsa were fresh super crunchy. The next time that you were in the ocean Springs area and would like a little spice in your life try jalapeño grill. Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetarian options, and you can always order any of their dishes without meat. Parking: There are plenty of parking places, easy, easy to get into the restaurant and out with no traffic problems. Kid-friendliness: There were several families at lunch. They have a kids menu definitely would be a place I would bring kids. So I’m not one who leaves reviews but felt like I had too this place was absolutely terrible. I use to eat here all the time when it was owned by the previous owners and the food was always delicious and the place was always slammed but anyways I thought I’d give it a try and boy will that be the last time. I ordered a veggie burrito to go and when I got home and opened it, it was just a soggy burrito packed with black beans and two bay leaves and was topped with wilted lettuce, salsa and sour cream that looked like cottage cheese. Taco Bell wipes this place out of the water and is located next door and a fraction of the cost. This place has the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. You’re welcome to give it a try but I would highly suggest El Rancho or El Saltillo or Pepe’s over this place. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
