Shrimp Basket Evergreen - Ocean Springs

Thos place was great. We sat outside with our dogs, and they brought us water for them without asking. Then the waitstaff was very fast and attentive. Then the food. This was some of the best seafood I have had in quite sometime. I had fried seafood. The batter was light and crispy. The seasoning was on point as well. All in all, a really nice place. We will be back in our next visit to the area.

Walked in around 8 in the evening. We waited a couple minutes for a booth with 2 other servers asked to seat us as well. Staff very friendly and polite. Ordered fried pickles which were great and the chicken pasta. Both orders were seasoned great. Relaxing atmosphere and comfy. Restaurant is rated at 4.3 but to me it is very underrated and should be a 5. It's a branch off the typical beach restaurant with their style and food. Not heavily greasy. Prices may be slight

The coconut shrimp salad was excellent. The candied walnuts and cranberries were a nice touch. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. It ended up being just a little too sweet for me with the raspberry vinnegarett. I would order again but with a different dressing.

Nice facility for the space they have in a great traffic location. The food was okay, yet I was a little disappointed for the hype it received; I honestly felt I was eating in at a fast food joint. Our server was professional, but he didn't wow us. He wasn't as attentive and because his section was a little busy, we were rushed to decide what we wanted to drink and to place our order. Maybe if I return, I'll try a different selection and possibly eat at the bar.

Popped in here on a Tuesday night. Overall it was a good experience. It's a typical coastal town fried seafood place. 90% fried, in a basket, or on bread with fries and coleslaw and or tartar sauce. Personally I'm not a big fan of this type of place but my wife and little one wanted to come. Overall the restaurant was clean and bright. The staff was very courteous friendly and attentive. The food came out hot and fresh. Overall good experience.
