Contribuisci feedbackMonterey Bay Canners is new to me, so I asked for a recommendation from the waitress, she was very helpful and gave several recommendations. The first was a white fish covered with nuts (almonds? I can't remember the name of the court, but it was delicious. The salad came on with baby shrimps and it was also very good. I also liked the bread. I think it was mad. We had to ask for another basket because we ate so much. My wife had a steak that she ordered medium, but it was well done. She was less satisfied with the restaurant then I was. Eat outside or ask for a view of the water that makes this restaurant really worth the trip. We could see the boats coming to the evening with the sun behind them. Very pleasant.
I started sitting with a pleasant host. A waitress was on our side who took our drinks order, which I like right away. After about one minute or two our drink was there and we were offered suggestions on appetizers, the crab and artichoke di and the Calamari were the waitress two favorites, so we chose the crab and artichoke dip to start with and let me tell you that it is for dying!!! We asked the waitress for suggestions on the menu and they gave us a complete menu run, which was nice and very informative, there was a fresh fish list and a fresh frozen list. I ordered one of the suggestions made by the waitress, the sesami seard ahi(delicious!!!!! really melted in your mouth, but got a bowl of Clam Chowder with all the experience in Monteray was amazing, the view was incredible and the service was unbeatable... thanks monteray for so great service I will be back and forth
The restaurant is located on the quieter side of the port with many outdoor seats. We found all our fish (half, salmon and swordfish), fresh and cooked to perfection. The vegetables (not the potatoes) could have done with a few minutes of cooking. If you are a fish lover, you will enjoy food in Monterey Canners.
