One Love Island Cuisine - Oceanside

Would you rate this restaurant a 4? We didn’t really dine in, as it felt more like a takeaway experience. However, the food was good! I really enjoyed my oxtail, cured goat, and rice and peas, while my husband liked his jerk chicken and rice and peas. He was a bit disappointed with the jerk chicken patty, as he expected it to be flaky; he loves patties! Despite that, I would still recommend this place because the meals are delicious.

The beef patty, chicken curry, and oxtail were all really delicious. I enjoyed each dish, but I still felt a bit hungry afterward. It would be great if they offered free rice refills or something to help satisfy my appetite more.

I ordered food for my son's birthday, and he said it was delicious. One of his friends mentioned that as soon as he tasted the oxtail, he couldn't help but rave about it! I'm in Texas, and when I spoke with the owner about what I wanted, she was incredibly helpful in recommending the best plate sizes at a great price. My son is excited to try the rest of the menu!

I was in the mood to try something new and found this little Jamaican place in the heart of Oceanside. Boneless Jerk Chicken was tender and tasteful Vegan Ital was also delicious with rice I really like Plantains. Steamed Kohl was a kind of Bland tho Other then that it was delicious. Thank you?

I had a great take out experience. The menu represents most things you?ll find common on trips to Jamaica. The service was first rate, and the food was good. I got the jerk chicken, which was very good at least on comparison to visits to Jamaica. The Pattie?s were good, but could do with a bit more meat in my opinion. I?ll look forward to exploring more the menu.
