Trebitsch Whiskyhrádek - Ocmanice

Beautiful restaurant in a pretty location. The service was amazing, food was well cooked (even though the flank felt a little bit over engineered and beer was good. Being a massive whisky enthusiast, I must unfortunately say I was not impressed with the quality of the whisky, but it wasn't horrible :

The bar seemed to be be the only place where I could buy a few bottles as samples for my London based Czechoslovak Restaurant without having to wait for an on-line delivery. So I drove to Třebíč to find out: 1. The basic 3yo was the only one available to take away 2. 500ml of 3yo single malt whiskey cost me 950CZK, an equivalent of £32. For that money I can get very decent 12yo Scotch, if lucky even older, and moreover in a pretty box The bar is a cosy, lovely place but I sadly had no intention to drink. And, looking at the excellent reviews, I have just noticed, that all 3 and 4 star ones somehow disappeared. Just wondering how long my review lasts here...

I wish this heaven made place exist in every city. So tasty whiskeys and lively ambiance!
