Baskin-robbins - Oconee County

I’m not one to write reviews but after going here so many times and it’s ALWAYS the same The Watkinsville Baskin Robbins is an absolute disaster. They ask you about 5 times or more what your order is and still can’t get it right. The manager clearly doesn’t know how to order ice creams either because they’re always out of ice creams. Jamocha almond fudge is clearly popular so please order enough that ppl don’t come all the way there and you don’t have it 9 times out of 10. And they don’t even seem to know what ice creams they do or don’t have until AFTER you’ve paid for it. Get it together.

They were out of chocolate, so I tasted 3 other flavors to find a suitable substitute. Was not happy with the Rocky Road that I ended up ordering all marshmallows and about 10% chocolate ice cream. Must have been a bad mix. The waffle cones that we ordered were also stale. I purchased for 2 people and spent $12. Nobody was happy with their order. The Peanut Butter chocolate was overloaded with too much Peanut Butter. I threw my Rocky Road away and decided to try the Mint Chocolate Chip instead. When I went to place my second order, the juvenile boy with black hair and glasses said I could not have another sample. He said they had a 3 sample limit. I assumed the sample limit was per order, but when I questioned him on it, he said no. He did know how to count to 3, but I think someone needs to clarify the sample rule with him. According to him I have exhausted my sample limit for the rest of my life. After his response I did not place my second order of course. He did save the company less than 1 penny on the 1 sample, but incurred an immediate $4 sales loss and a much larger loss in lost potential sales with this customer. Not everyone who knows how to count should be an accountant or for that matter, anywhere near a customer. This happened on Saturday evening on 9/9/23.

Never go wrong getting ice cream at Baskin-Robbins. I don't stop in here often because ice cream is not not really in my diet plan but sometimes you just need ice cream, ya know?

What a disappointment and it appears by the reviews, I’m not the only one. Sad thing is, management hasn’t addressed the issue. Paid $5.02 for this ripoff “2 scoop”. I was watching while the male worker smushed the cone in the cup so hard it crushed the cone. Went back in and explained what he did, got another cone, and left. No opps, sorry lady, nothing. But then, he knew what he was doing. He had to feel the cone break while he did it.
