Sport's Channel - Oconomowoc

Local bar with quite a few TVs, a pool table, jukebox, and great picture windows looking onto a lake. there are a few tables but the focus is the large bar with lots of seating it's not fancy, but the drinks are reasonably priced, and the food is simple but surprisingly good. Expect burgers chicken sandwiches, fried food, pizzas, and basic bar food made in front of you at a tiny space in the corner behind the bar. Expect lots of boaters when the weather is nice, and a generally friendly crowd. It's not the most refined place in the world, but Sport's Channel is refreshingly real and a great place for a drink a burger if you're in the area.

Great: Burgers Beer Backyard This place is right off 94 between Milwaukee and Madison. It's a great place to stop on a nice day for a burger. We sat outside in their backyard and enjoyed the wonderful view. Hubby and I each had a burger. We were not disappointed. The burger was juicy. Nothing too fancy, just a good plain burger with fries. It really hit the spot. If you come on a weekday afternoon, you might have the place almost to yourselves. It was nice and relaxing. We stopped another time on a Sunday evening. It was hopping! There was loud music and a rowdy crowd. That didn't stop us from pulling a couple seats up to the bar! Hubby had the burger and fries again. I chose to have their chicken special. $7 for half a chicken... done right! It was crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside. I had a lemonade and vodka to wash it down. It's a great place to relax when it's mid-day, and a great place to chow down and mingle in the evening!

I just moved to the area and wanted to support our local bar, so I thought I would give it a try. Walked in on a Saturday night with a group of my friends and the young male bartender was extremely rude. We started playing music on the jukebox and our wife's danced a little, but after about 45 minutes the young male bartender made a comment we needed to much attention and then clapped as we left. Not what I expected for a small local bar.

This restaurant is situated right between Milwaukee and Madison, making it a convenient stop for a delicious burger on a sunny day. We enjoyed our meal while sitting in the backyard with a cold beer.
