Daruma - Odawara

Disappointed. Seasonal menu is below average, cost-performance rate is close to zero. The restaurant has over 100 years history, but the food quality is lower than at average level Japanese food restaurants in Tokyo.

Beautifully presented limited sushi don in a traditional restaurant which has probably more than 120 years history !

An Odawara institution. Booking is recommended if you're planning to go lunchtime on a weekend. Alternatively, you should arrive just as the doors open. The food speaks for itself !

One of the best meals we had in Japan. The restaurant is very traditional and the clientele are as well. It made for an authentic experience. There is an English menu, so it was easy to order. The food was presented beautifully and the sashimi seemed to be very fresh of quality.

Daruma Restaurant is a gem! I had the best tempura of my life, and they offer delicious set menus. It's a must-try if you are visiting Odawara!
