Tonkatsu Wabuta - Odawara

An excellent choice for a quick and affordable meal just outside of Odawara Station. Their lunch time tonkatsu plate special is a fantastic bargain ¥1200) and most of their other dishes are less than ¥2000). Service was attentive and we got in and out in 30 minutes so it's a good option if you have a train to catch.

It is not the greatest Tonkatsu restaurant but if you are in the area and have a craving for Tonkatsu it will satisfy you desire. The service is quick and friendly. The is table and counter seating available. The menu is in Japanese and English with photos.

We arrived 50 minutes before closing time and we got told they were closed, even if they had customers inside.

The food was delicious and the interior of the restaurant was amazing- however, if you get the rice set with the fried shrimp, miso soup, rice and side dishes, they charge you 1900¥ instead of the written price of 800¥ and 300¥ if you do not specify that you want one piece of fried shrimp. They gave me two pieces of fried shrimp without telling me that they would charge me extra for the second shrimp- this is not specified in the menu. The food was otherwise delicious, but I was disappointed that I had to pay more than I had planned to pay.

ロースカツ定食 ランチを食べに小田原駅周辺をぶらぶら散策していて発見しました。 ミナカ小田原、外観は城下町をイメージした施設で私的には好きです。 2階に食事の店舗が入っているので2階へ、この日は豚カツモードだったので和豚さんに入店。 ロースカツ定食を注文しました。 和豚もちぶたと言う豚さんを使用しているとのこと¥1500-の割にお肉は少し硬めでしたが普通に美味しくいただきました。 ご馳走様でした。
