A chain of restaurants, this particular venue within the Rosengaardscentret had window views of heavy construction. However the interior was quite nice, and the menu was ample (though obviously with heavy emphasis on beef dishes). A 3 course prix fixe special caught our eye, so we opted for the following: Shrimp cocktail Beef (choice of sauces and sides) had the whiskey sauce and my husband picked the pepper sauce, plus we both chose sweet potato fries. Banana split Everything was well presented and flavoursome. The service was courteous, and his English was quite good (menus also available in English). It was fairly decent value for Danish restaurant standards. A hearty choice of restaurant.
Very nice waitresses and the food was excellent. The prices is affordable and you can easily order extra of anything. Picture show my 230g. Rump steak with baked potato and whisky sauce.
This is the first time I went to Jensen’s after almost 3 years and I was pleasantly surprised to know that they had changed some of the menu but have kept some of the classics like the potato gratin. Overall the staff is still very helpful and all smiles and the venue is more or less still the same cozy and welcoming.
Apart from the average quality of food, they have amazing whiskey sauce that I enjoyed and the mashed potatoes with bacon were good. I should have taken well cooked Rib Eye steak instead of medium cooked, but that's my fault. My husband enjoyed the BBQ ribs, though said they were not the best that he has eaten.
We stopped by here on the way to kastrup from århus. Luch was ok, but not more then that but the food was cheap. Location is good with plenty of parking.
