G Peppers - Odessa

Service is always friendly. Food variety is good. Ambiance is local family type place/ pub. Not fancy. Convenient. Good after work spot to eat dinner. Never long waits to be seated.

I've lived here for 20 years and have never been here so thought I'd give it a try. Lots of paintings and eclectic bar art but not necessarily aesthetically pleasing. Our waitress was pleasant and effective. Lots of the food is not made in house. They are frozen and then defrosted and cooked. Nothing we had was particularly amazing. We had to send back the potato skins as they were cold.

I only eat one thing when I come here and that's the smothered chicken and a iced tea with fries. They have plenty of parking

Great local place, cheap beer and food and high quality! Wings are my absolute favorite! Service is always fast! Bar area has pool tables and darts too. Always a great meal when we come here!

I have been meaning to go to G Peppers for a long time, but kind of stopped eating out during the pandemic. Now that I am vaxxed, boosted and still wear a mask most places... I am comfortable eating out more. Got seated right away... and the place is typical bar and grill. Clean, and pretty well laid out. Staff is attentive and friendly enough. Lots of cool art on the walls, some of it reminds me of the early 60s acid era, though. Yea... I am that old! Ordered a Patty Melt (medium rare) and subbed Onion Rings instead of other sides... because ONION RINGS! I was told they were lacking the Herbed Mayo they normally put on the patty melts, so got regular mayo. It was served quickly, and looked good. Onion Rings were good... not sure if they are made in house or not, but probably are, they were tasty. Patty Melt was perfect. Deliciously toasted rye bread, medium rare patty, plenty of cheese, some well caramelized onion on it and the mayo. It disappeared quickly, and while it was plenty even for a growing boy... I was sad when it was gone. Pickle was excellent also... I might have to setup an UYE here! Be a good time...
