He was diagnosed the following day or so with having CamphlobCampylobacteracter in his stool and the health department was notified of the likely contamination after he drank milk from Sunset Creamery. Subsequently, during a routine milk inspection, Campylobacter contamination was found. The department notified Sunset View Creamery about the preliminary test results on Sept. 12, and further testing confirmed the presence of the campylobacter again on Sept. 18, 2023. Campylobacteriosis can cause lasting complications, including irritable bowel syndrome, arthritis, and temporary paralysis. People with compromised immune systems could develop a life-threatening infection if the bacteria spreads to the bloodstream.
This is a great place to visit, explore and shop. Our kids loved the cow cuddling, Jess and Jeremy went ABOVE Beyond to make our visit memorable. The shop in the farm was full of high quality, small batch food items. We will definitely be back again!!
It was a great experience. The kids loved the cow petting and milking the cows. The associates were very kind and answered our many questions.
We love this place! Good local meets, good selection of homemade cheeses, and possibly the best homemade ice cream we’ve found. We’ve keep going back for more ;
Booked a cow cuddle and purchased many items from their store! Amazing time with amazing people! A must do if you’re in the area!
