Caravela De Ouro - Oeiras

I led a group of 24 persons from all around the world for 4 days in Lisbon and Caravela D'Ouro was one of the choosen restaurants. The well-known top service and food since ever were the main reasons for choosing this restaurant and for sure did not disappointed. All my guests congratulated me for this choice. Big thank to Mr. Lopes and Mrs. Maria and all their staff for helping me to please my guests.

Caravela de Ouro is strategically located near the Algés train station, so within easy reach for all those visiting the Belém Quarters and who want to avoid the crowded restaurants of the area. The dinning room is huge, so it can take many customers without ever giving us the feeling that we are too close to our neighboring tables. Food is well cooked, with a special accent on fish and shellfish, always fresh. Service is good and waiters make it a point in having customers satisfied. The owners themselves attend at table and circulate within the room, so that is a guarantee everything will go smoothly. The restaurant further offers two rooms for groups (70 and 120 people), making it a popular choice among locals for getting-togethers, family parties and business meetings. I recently organized a group get-together and everybody was fully satisfies with service, abundant servings and general atmosphere.

Top. Great fresh food. Grilled fish and seafood rice are very good. Good variety of desserts. Nice service. Plenty of natural light. Easy parking. A must!

O ambiente é agradável e os funcionários muito simpáticos. A comida também é bastante saborosa.

A habitual simpatia do pessoas e do Sr, Lopes, coisa cada vez mais rara. O (grande) lombo de pregado que me serviram foi, apenas, o melhor prato de peixe que comi na vida. Está tudo dito. Recomendo.
