Apfelwein (apfelwein) is pressed and fermented in the cellar of this facility. apfelwein is a tradition in the federal state hessen and is delicious. it is served in a heavy salt-glazed ceramic pitcher to keep it cool. in family business small (for generations) the food is also excellent, the service friendly and helpful. there is even a bowling alley in front of location! they reach this via the subway of frankfurt. it's really charming. we went back several times!

Our air bnb host recommended this place on our recent trip to Frankfurt because it is his favorite schnitzel so so good!! We had an amazing meal complete with appetizers and dessert I couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were. Definitely recommend! Try the apfelwein...too!

I visited the restaurant for a dinner. Yes, I love this type family type, nothing sophisticated but great food, big portions of schnitzel and cold beer. What not to like. Ah! yes not to like the home made apfelwein the owner generously...gave us to try but.... definitely not our style.
