Contribuisci feedbackOn the way through Nebraska. Really glad we stopped. Sandwiches were big and delicious. Bread and meat were very fresh. The two ladies in the shop were funny, courteous and all around a pleasure to interact. Note, the place currently only accepts cash.
Homemade bread made for an amazing roast beef sandwich. The homemade sweet potato chips are delicate, not too salty and not greasy. To offer this friendly, clean place, we treated ourselves to a homemade Rhabarb pipe. I'm looking forward to going back.
Large small town sandwich shop with friendly staff. The special was a reuben sandwich with corned beef, but I'm a pastrami type and they hooked me up. I'm a picky eater and enjoyed my sandwich very much. We're sure to stop on the way back from Colorado!
We found this amazing place while we travel through the city. Service was excellent and she helped us find our favorites among the great selection of sandwiches. The homemade bread was wonderful. They also make porcelain, cakes, cabbage balls, soups, a few salads, and a few fried side items. We took our food to go and everything was super fresh, packed nice and very tasty. I recommend the California Sandwich and the homemade potato chips. The dining room and the toilets were very clean and hopefully at the next visit we have time to eat. Take cash, no credit accepted.
Lovely people and easy-going setting. Perfect comfort food on a wintery day. Prices do seem a bit high (over $10 for a plain grilled cheese sandwich and cup of soup). One odd thing I noticed was that at lunchtime all the female customers (myself included) were 6 feet tall or more. It was a strange convergence of tall ladies, curious if that was a one-time thing or a regular occurrence in Ogallala.
