Waffle Love - Ogden

I visited this morning and had a very disappointing experience. When I walked in, the music was blaring, and the two women working there completely ignored me. I made eye contact with one of them, but instead of greeting me, she just pretended to be busy to avoid taking my order. After placing some waffles down, she turned around, we made eye contact again, and then she walked to the back. She eventually returned, set down some trays next to the register, and continued to ignore us. Finally, she huffed, told us to hold on, and kept laying down trays. By this point, we had been waiting for about 10 minutes without being acknowledged or having our order taken. We decided to leave, feeling it was a waste of our time. I wouldn't recommend this place; the service has really declined, and overall it’s just mediocre.

We stumbled upon this fantastic café during our visit to the area. The menu offers a variety of creative options that are unique without being over the top. We all opted for the chicken and waffles, but I customized mine with strawberries and cream cheese frosting. This added a delightful sweetness that complemented the savory fried chicken beautifully. The chicken was cooked to perfection and incredibly juicy. The waffle was just right—fluffy without being overly bready. The portion size was ideal as well. I would certainly come back here again on my next trip into town.

The waffle was absolutely delicious! It brought back memories of the waffles I enjoyed in Belgium. The ice cream was exceptional on its own. Thankfully, I have a big appetite, or I might not have managed to finish it, as it was quite large. Food: 5/5

Amazing amazing food!!! I got the chicken sandwich and the hot honey and subtle pickles were PERFECTION. My husband got the chicken and waffles and it came with syrup and Some spicy ranch stuff which was DELICIOUS. I’m definitely coming back! The service was so great! They were such a vibe and so fun! Unfortunately I couldn’t get their name but they had a septum piercing, blonde buzz cut hair, and made the best food! They couldn’t have made a better first impression!

This place has amazing food don't get me wrong. This rating is more for the service you get now. I have been an avid waffle love goer but as of the past few times I have gone service has been terrible. The thing that has prompted me to finally write a review is that me and my wife went there to grab Breakfast real quick. We made sure it was after opening but the door was locked. The employee was behind the counter acting like we didn't push on the door. We double checked hours and then tried the door again to make sure we weren't pushing too weakly. Decided if this employee doesn't want our business oh well. This saddens me due to wanting that delicious food.Summary: Went to get good food. Locked door during business hours. Ignored by an employee in the restaurant.
