Powderhorn Chateau - Ohakune

Just had dinner here and it was epic! 20 odd years since my last visit. The steak dish was superb! Don't be put off like I nearly was with the wording of the dish. Perfectly executed, Perfectly cooked. Service was outstanding attentive. Had desserts and both were again excellent. Didn't get to catch up with you Ben but I'll be back. Top notch kai! Hello team at Powderhorn, Its been an honour to have visited your absolutely stunning Bar and Restaurant.... The service was faultless however the pizza x2 I ordered were in serious need of some personal chef feedback which I still intend to speak with about, this is an absolute must for constructive criticism when serving pizza to a pizza lover.... We stayed two nights here. The room is big and comfy. The staff were nice and friendly. They provided services and help whenever we needed them. There are hot pools but we didn’t get to try them. Nearby activities: The location is great just under the Turoa ski field. Food drinks: The food from the restaurant was amazing too. We ordered eye fillet and pork ribs for our dinner.
