Smoke and Oak Bistro - Okanagan Falls

We had a late lunch and dinner at Smoke and Oak and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Due to current restrictions, there is no table service, but ordering through the switch and pick up system worked smoothly. The hostess who greeted us explained everything clearly, and the terrace seating was well-spaced and clean. The pulled chicken and brisket were very good, and the cornbread was moist and tasty. I found the mac and cheese to be a bit bland for my taste, but the coleslaw was delicious.

Friends had great bike ride on Skaha lake and had a fabulous evening at Smoke and Oak Bistro. Fantastic views, great music and ambience and superb chef! Charcuterie tray delightful, great smoked meats and corn bread! We highly recommend an evening at their bistro.

Stopped in for lunch, explosion of flavour and great wine. Nice outdoor patio seating and good service.

The bistro at Weingut Wild Goose is a hidden gem. With a small terrace off the main tasting room, simple tables, and a beautiful view of the vineyards, it's a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. I was impressed by the adherence to COVID protocols, which made for a safe and enjoyable experience for all. We tried the bison burger and the andouille wurst sandwich, accompanied by chipotle potato salad and lemon and dill coleslaw. We also sampled the current wines, each one a delight. The flavors in every dish were exceptional, with perfect combinations that pleased the palate. The portion sizes were just right, not too big or too small. It was a lovely day spent outdoors, a welcomed break from the stresses of the pandemic. A big thank you to the fantastic staff who made us feel so welcome.

We enjoy dining at Smoke and Oak. The restaurant has a beautiful deck and great views. Whether we're with a large group or just a few of us, it's always a lovely experience. My favorite dish is the ribs, they come in large portions.
