Jameson's Charhouse - OKATIE

Robin is an excellent manager, and Joe, Amanda, and Amy are outstanding servers. This is the best place to enjoy a hamburger, sliders, French onion soup, or a hot ham and cheese sandwich. Although Jameson's primarily caters to Sun City residents, you can easily enter through the front gate at the guest entrance and let them know where you're dining. They also host banquets and have a sunroom available for larger groups. I absolutely love this location! While no food is served on Mondays, they do offer a fantastic Happy Hour, and the drink prices are very reasonable for the area. Additionally, the bar serves a delicious hot dog. I've been coming here for eight years, and while I might be a bit biased, the burgers (priced under $14) are made with quality beef and come with fries and coleslaw.

The food here is decent, but it feels more like it's prepared by a cook than a chef. It's a missed opportunity for the restaurant, especially since they have a large audience that would appreciate a truly excellent dining experience. While the food is acceptable, it's nothing special—definitely something you could easily make at home.

The food is reasonably good for the price. However, the service leaves much to be desired. The restaurant is rarely busy, yet it's difficult to get the attention of the waitstaff.

The food is O K, if you are very hungry, and are not a food affection-ado But whatever you order ,do not order any drinks from the bar. I ordered a **** Mary , which could be disguised as flavored water. Am used to frequent many Jameson Restaurants in various states, especially Illinois. Illinois is the top ranked, as far as I am concerned. Very tasty THICK Steaks, and excellent drinks. I guess the one in Sun City, caters to the non steak lovers.

Food is good but basic. Love the Greek salad and salmon. Service is prompt and friendly. The ambiance is not cozy and can be loud.
