Kingston Kitchen - Okemos

My wife and I found our new favorite Okemos/Haslett for lunch and dinner. eating was absolutely amazing and large portions. I can't talk very enough about how good it was.

The coconut curry chicken was delicious, and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I tried the reggae Medley juice, it was delicious

The first time here. the waiter was very helpful, the vegetarian dishes that can be made vegan. I had the Jamaican rasta pasta, minus cheese. my man had jerk pork and our friend had the oxtail. they also had a beer. everyone enjoyed their meal and had remnants to take home. they use plastic to go container. they give out plastic straws. in the near future these are once banned plastic articles here. Brazil and some other countries have already banned it. overall we enjoyed our visit and will try other dishes again.

(pictured on the left eating was bland; went back to exchange my meal picture on the right side for was gone! better) I am here to correct the review; my man did not know that he ordered the wrong article on the menu; as I went to eat back to get a refund, the cook/owner was kind enough to show and explain to me how to order for my man next time; he gave me my refund and fixed the right court he was looking for; I have actually taken the time to steal a taste, and I regret it

Yummy, emperor-sized portions and good service. Wish the fish was ocean-friendly, but Kingston scored big with no-plastic bags and ecofriendly boxes. Will come back to explore more of the menu, and look for dishes with more fruits&veggies on the side. Yay!
