This usually takes 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, I inquired about the hold up. I was told the pesto drizzle was being prepared and it would be ready shortly. Ten minutes later? Still no completed order. I asked for a refund. Although I received my full refund, the manager was unkind about the transaction and acted as though I was at fault. I will never return. I understand mistakes and communication glitches occur with every business. But the **** poor attitude and lack of urgency is unacceptable. If you work in the OU-HSC area, avoid this place.
When I went in to exchange an item I had purchased the day before, the staff seemed reluctant to accommodate my request. As I tried to explain the situation directly to the manager, she made comments to her subordinate without ever addressing me directly. She casually stated that "she makes these daily" and then walked away, again ignoring me. When I asked her a question, she responded to the cashier instead of acknowledging me. This type of customer service is unacceptable and sets a poor example of prioritizing customer needs. I will no longer be a patron of this café, nor will I host any future meetings with colleagues and associates here. If anyone asks for my recommendation, I will firmly advise against it. It's important to note that this isn't the first complaint regarding this manager’s lack of communication with customers and staff alike. I believe management and employees should undergo customer service training that emphasizes proper engagement and communication, especially with individuals from diverse backgrounds. You never know who you are serving or who is present.
We've gone here a number of times. It is convenient when you have more than one appointment and no time to go downtown. The food is good, very fresh and is healthy but pricey. The cookies are amazing. Very clean and comfortable.
The restaurant is typically very accommodating when it comes to changes in orders. If you have a food allergy or any specific dietary needs, just ask, and I'm confident they will take care of you. They've modified dishes for me several times in the past without any hesitation. On one occasion, I even brought in my own toppings and asked them to make a pizza with them, and they gladly obliged—it turned out fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is great, although I do miss their previous style of nachos!
We had expected that we had breakfast before chemotherapy, but the woman who worked said that we did not eat from the kitchen, so now we are hangry, we wanted biscuits and gravy, no sugar loaded Danish. Don't depend on this place for breakfast.
