We ate at the bar. A variety of beers are on tap and Tracy is attentive and friendly. TV's around the bar are tuned to sports. And the Simpsons. With closed captions. My wife and I ordered the 6 oz filet. The server very professionally delivered our meals and asked that we cut into the steaks to be sure they were satisfactorily cooked. Wife's needed a little more heat and it was returned cooked to perfection. The salads were crisp and large. My sweet potato was sizable and wife's vegetable k-bob was excellent. The hot rolls with butter are almost a dessert by themselves. Oh, and the peanuts make for a good appetizer. We will return.
Always get the best to-go service with Tracy. She's awesome!!! Check out the two meals for only $14.99! We always get the wood grilled salmon with two sides. hungry4morefoodie.blogspot.com
Update 10/4/2016: Just learned that they are a lot like a McDonald's - but the food is better. Stopped in for dinner and noticed they had a Roasted Chicken Pot Pie on a two can dine for special and that it is available all day. Being by myself I tried to order just one but was informed they don't have a key for that so it is unavailable. Thought that they were a real restaurant and that only McDonald's was that incompetent. ========================================= Previous Visits: Ordered a new item off the insert - 6 oz fillet w/ peppercorn cream sauce and mushrooms, salad, and asparagus for the $0.99 up-charge. The meal came out perfectly. The steak was cooked as ordered along with the asparagus and mushrooms. The sauce was great and completed the dish and presentation. After a decade or so of eating here a few times a month it is nice to see them upgrading their menu from the good, but highly predictable, fare of the past. Perhaps they have discovered they can get folks to willingly pay for a touch of excitement in feature dishes - something places like Longhorn Steakhouse has been milking for quite a while now. My wait person, Jonathan, did an outstanding job. BTW: you might want to try their grilled meatloaf. It has something of a hint of apple in it - a least it seems that way to me. The grilling adds a nice char in places about the edges. I order it about half the time I eat here ... and I generally won't touch meatloaf.
