Heard it was closing and we went tonight before I can’t anymore. Bone marrow, steak, gnocchi, wine. All top notch as usual. Sad to see a truly well done restaurant go. Will be back as many times as I can before they close
The ambience, the cooks, our waiter amazing place for a cozy night out
We talked about going to eat at Ludivine for a long time and finally went the other weekend. Unfortunately, we were not super impressed. My husband and I shared the beef tartare which was okay, but not amazing by any means. We also shared the the bread pudding, which was more like an extra small dried piece of toast with bourbon and melted marshmallow poured on top. The ambiance was lovely, our server was too, but there was some issue with the kitchen or bar as it took over 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive, to which our server was very apologetic- we understand, things happen, it isn’t the end of the world. The manager was very gracious and made up for the issue by not charging us for our drinks, as well as offering us a glass of complementary Prosecco. I wish it got better from there, but I am very sad to say that the food was less than desired. I really had high hopes with all the good reviews, maybe we just had poor luck and it was an off night? Who knows, perhaps we will give it another chance down the road.
Fanatastic experience as usual! We usually do the chefâs tasting menu with wine pairing and are never disappointed. This time we went with their special of red snapper and were blown away. The food, the wine, the presentation, and the service are all outstanding.
