If you don't like it come back here and I'll buy you all a beer. So obviously we chose to go to McClintocks. We started the meal with chorizo cheese dip and house made chips, house made chicharrons and a 6 year Whistlepig whiskey from their extensive menu. Next came the salads with an indulgent creamy blue cheese dressing. Finally the star of the show, 30 oz filets cooked to perfection with crispy fries and a bottle of red wine to wash it all down. Needless to say we did not get dessert. No more room. But next time we visit OKC, which we do every April, we will be visiting this throwback saloon for its authentic vibe and great food. We did not go back for a free beer.
I have dined here several times. Sides of a entree always come out barely warm. Obviously a process issue as this always occurs. Ordered a blackberry daiquiri couldn’t taste any alcohol an it had no ice! My friend ordered a second **** Mary 10 minutes later I went to the bar an got it it was just sitting there! I like the atmosphere but I am done! Food is cheaper an much better just around the corner at cattlemans! I’m done here!
We had a great time hanging out at this place! They have incredible chips and queso, among other items. We sat at the bar for drinks and appetizers. The bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable. He hand crafted a Mocktail for me that was delicious and refreshing! Love the atmosphere and beautiful stained glass!Food: 5/5
Great place in OKC. 3 of my friends and I decided to go as a get together with an old friend who was in town visiting. None of us had been before so it was a new experience all around. The service was good, there was a few things that could have been better like small mistakes on order preferences, and service was a bit slow, but the server was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is really great, a saloon feel on one side and a somewhat rustic, yet higher end dining room on the other. Very cool. The food was great. Steaks prepared perfectly and well seasoned. The price was more than reasonable and the bread pudding desert was excellent (more brandy sauce plz).We all talked about what a great experience it was for us first timers and all said we would be back.
What a nice place! Great atmosphere and decor. Our waitress Chloe was fantastic! So friendly and on top of our needs. The food was outstanding! I highly recommend the Spicy Carbonara. Our group also enjoyed the Shrimp Cocktail and the Monte Cristo sandwich. Would love to come back. Visiting from Delaware.
