So I decided to have a business lunch there with another plant-based customer. it was a hard decision for me between the tikka masala, rainbow pad thai and the chicken fried portobello. I chose the portobello and was not disappointed. boiled perfectly, incredible taste, and really on the brand. the restaurant itself is located in the paseo arts district, a Spanish-thematic couple located south of the 30th between walker and western. we had great weather and had a seat in the open. they also have a menu for pets! I didn't kill you. I think we were the only table that had no pet with us. highly recommended. great food, good service.
If they are ever in oklahoma city, ok and they land in what they consider the “artificial quarters” they really need to make the trip to picasso cafe on paseo. they have an amazing vegan section of their menu that any choosy vegan would find something. the service is top notch, and eating is just from this world. the whole facility has that west hollywood Polish, and yet, the Artsy district is original mainly the bookstore on the street! if they think of trendy, they do not think in the rule of oklahoma as option, but seriously, they should check this place because it is so trendy as it is not in a bad way and they will just go over the eat. I really wish I could give them five stars, but the app doesn't let me: they need to go seriously, and yes, they should make a reservation.
Had a great experience! Drove through town on Labor Day weekend so couldn’t park close due to an arts festival in the area. Decided to walk down and try it anyways and so glad we did. Plenary of vegan options and good price too. Will definitely stop by again when I’m town.
It was so yummy and they were able to modify a vegetarian dish into a vegan one
All I can say is wow! Fate must have brought us together. If there are 3 things I cannot live without it's wood hard string beans, wet noodle soft french fries and a little uncooked breading. Needless to say, I have calloused fingers from cutting through the string beans, I slurped my fries like overcooked pasta and sucked up all of that undercooked breading like pudding. I also discovered a new fondness for uncooked Portobello mushrooms tasting of dirt. Thank you, and a job well done to you good sir.
