Razzoo's Cajun Cafe - Oklahoma City

The portions in the basket were very small. I ordered the catfish and shrimp, which consisted of 3 small pieces of fish and 3 small shrimp. The flavor was okay. However, the service was lacking even though the restaurant wasn't busy, with only about 10 people in the whole place on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm. It took a long time to get refills.

The restaurant would have received 5 stars, but our server seemed more interested in sitting in the entryway playing on her phone and chatting with her colleagues. My husband ordered a beer when we first arrived, but it sat untouched on the bar until I brought it to the server's attention. By the time the food arrived, the beer was warm. Our drink glasses remained empty throughout the meal. The restaurant wasn't very busy because the fryer was down, but we understand that these things happen. The only person consistently working on the floor was the lady bussing and cleaning tables, while the others seemed to be more focused on socializing. We travel a long way to eat here, so it was disappointing to experience such lackluster service.

I used to enjoy the cheese fondue at this restaurant, but I believe they have altered the recipe as it now tastes like mustard. On the bright side, they have reintroduced the fish bowls with three flavors available. Just a reminder, you still need to have at least two people in order to order it!

Loved the food. A little pricey for some, but we'll worth it. Service was excellent. I will be going back.

Great food, friendly and helpful staff, and a fun atmosphere. Probably more of a place to take friends than for families with young kids. Meals come in good size portions and everything we tried was good from appetizers to entrees.
