The 2 piece fish and 6 piece shrimp with red beans and rice and French fries was amazing! Everything that was fried was fried in fresh clean grease. The sauces are amazing. The red beans and rice reminds me of Lousiana style. Very impressed and will definitely be back

The fish was good, however the service was really bad. I ordered 3 whole catfish. I paid for 3 catfish. I waited about 20 minutes. I received 2 catfish, so I said I ordered number 32. He said yes and the manager walked up and said you only paid for 2. No I paid for 3. The cashier said oh you did only pay for 2. He punched in 32 and and the cost came up $14.68. $13.49 plus tax. 2 catfish cost $11.49 plus tax. I said I want the 3rd fish they said okay, it will be $3.49 more. They wanted me to pay more for what I already paid. No way. I will not go back. They lost me as a customer. Be careful and not pay to much.

Got my usual jumbo shrimp Poboy.....welp shrimp was fried probably yesterday with the tails on and they still weren't jumbo no sam's sauce either? should have known when we walked in and the 2 guys looked disappointed they had customers

First time going to Sam's and the Shrimp Po Boy and Fish Po Boy were great! What made this experience even better was the kind cashier (I believe his name was Sam). Slow day so he was the cook, the cashier, and the waiter. Very kind and great customer service. Highly recommend!

I have to say, the food at this restaurant was really good! It seems like they have improved on their flavor and seasoning based on some previous reviews. Even though most of their menu items are fried, they did a fantastic job with frying everything perfectly. The food was lightly breaded and cooked well with great seasoning. The fish and shrimp tasted fresh, and it was clear that attention was put into preparing the dishes. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure to check on us and our food. However, I have to give a low rating due to the restaurant's lack of cleanliness. The dining area was not well-maintained, with tables left dirty and food sitting out. The tea was stale, and there was a large, dirty fish tank. The bathrooms were not up to par, resembling those of a gas station rather than a restaurant. We also noticed the lack of a changing table or suitable surface for our little one. Despite these issues, we would consider returning, but only for drive-through service.
