I visit every time I am in town, this trip I ate there twice! I am a Brit and was raised eating Indian food. I have lived in the US for 20 years and I must say that I think this is the best Indian I have found in all that time and in OKC of all places! The lamb curry is spectacular! I also really like the chili chicken dish it is unique, I have never had anything like it elsewhere. Also love the spinach pakora. It's all good but those are my favorites. Owners are friendly. Environment is basic but warm and welcoming. This is my favorite place to go in OKC and I am here usually five or six times a year.

Taj is the restaurant I want to be buried in. I am seriously considering infiltrating the kitchen for that carrot halwa recipe. I have never been disappointed. I don’t know if the food is or isn’t authentic...I just know it’s the best I’ve ever had.
