Taqueria El Rey Food Truck

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, but today I was very disappointed and will not return. Instead, I recommend going to Taqueria Sanchez. The quality of the food has been consistently decreasing over the past year, and their prices have gone up, with every item costing $3 more. $7 for a torta and $7 for a burrito? $2.50 for a coke? These are prices I would expect to pay at a sit-down restaurant, not a taco truck. I found out that the cokes are not Mexican, but just regular $2.50 sodas filled with American corn syrup. The woman working was extremely rude when I asked for extra sauce and did not inform me about the drinks. Despite my loyalty to this stand, the subpar food, high prices, poor service, and lack of authentic Mexican soda have led me to stop coming back. With 15 other taco stands just down the street, they should be more mindful of how they treat their customers. I recommend eating at Taqueria Sanchez on 10th and Tulsa for a much better and more authentic Mexican experience.

Don’t believe the 1-star reviews, the customer service is comparable to most food trucks. Very friendly, just quick and to the point. Expect to wait, but it’s worth it! The food is absolutely delicious!!! 10/10 tacos and carnitas platter. ?

I bought a torta from this place. As I was a quarter through I took another bite. And for some reason I couldn’t rip off a bite. Turns out there was a big as piece of cardboard the size of the sandwich. I swear to god this happened. I meant to take a picture. But threw it away instead.. that was the first and last time I’m every going there

I absolutely adore this food truck and am lucky enough to live just a few blocks away. The carnitas burritos and tacos they serve are the best I've ever had! This food has definitely lifted me up from some low points. One great thing is that they stay open late! As an added bonus, they also offer ice-cold Coca Cola when you place your order. You can even walk over to the liquor store in the parking lot and grab some small bottles of whisky to make a parking lot cocktail while you wait for your tacos. I am absolutely in love with this place!

I found this restaurant on Google and the reviews were excellent, so I had to give it a try. The green salsa was amazing, with just the right amount of spice. I also ordered a carne asada burrito, which was recommended by the staff, and it did not disappoint. The service was quick and competent. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.
