Yuzo Sushi Tapas - Oklahoma City

Our waiter, although very nice, could have been a little more knowledgeable about the menu. Given how attentive and friendly he was I normally see a waiter who can’t point you in a particular direction based upon the questions you ask as a training issue. Additionally, the noise level was very high which might have been the result of two or three patrons. The food was outstanding and despite the noise we would definitely go back.

The service at this restaurant was slow. I ordered a tempura shrimp roll for $8 and requested it to be topped with roe (masago), but it came with large salmon roe instead. When the waiter brought our check, we were charged an additional $14 for the roe topping, making my $8 roll end up costing $22. This unexpected charge was unreasonable and should have been communicated to us by the waiter beforehand. Unfortunately, the waiter was slow and overall provided poor service, so I should have anticipated being deceived.

The service was great. Although one of our appetizers was missing initially, it was promptly prepared and brought out later. The quality of the fish was excellent, as was the sake. It was our first visit but we will definitely be returning when we are downtown.

Best sushi I had in the larger OKC area. it was great.
