However, the staff has always been excellent, including on the day of our last visit when everyone was friendly despite being busy. My spouse and I recently went there and decided to be patient since the restaurant had just reopened and the service was a bit slow. We ordered appetizers and drinks, but had to wait 10 minutes for someone to take our order and another 15 minutes for our drinks. The wings were simply coated in Frank's hot sauce, some were dry and lacked sauce. The calamari was bland and lacked seasoning, with jalapeño slices being the only saving grace in the dish. Despite trying to improve the taste with tzatziki and lemon, it was still unappetizing. The quesadilla had beans in it, which I didn't remember from the menu but ate out of hunger, although my spouse did not enjoy it. Overall, our experience at Brown's was disappointing and we have decided not to return for a while.
In early October and a wonderful day so my friends and I decided to have lunch on the Browns SocialHouse terrace. I started with a Social Ice $7) a glass of her house camp with a doll of Bellini Slush awarded on top...and so smooth! For my meal I chose the #28 Dragon Bowl with Teriyaki Chicken. The bowl was full of rice, wool fired vegetables, red cabbage, crispy onion and spicy yogurt. The price was a bit steep, $21, but I could take a little home to eat later. The bowl was really delicious and satisfying. The service was attentive and friendly and they took all necessary precautions Covid 19. I have often eaten at Brown's SocialHouse and will go back as soon as we are able to eat inside!
Ordered a pasta menu that is usually a great meal in every half decent restaurant, but when I finally got my cold meal, there was not enough pasta for two forks full and the meal was $25.00 ... you save money
A server works hard. A manager ignores customers. She saw she pouring half a pinch of guinness and then didn't let one come back. Minute and half a lady! I wanted my bill. She looked at me, turned around and went away. Buses didn't collect, no... supervision. Sad.
The fish and chips were very good, and I loved the coleslaw. I like the food here, I just don't like how loud it is, and since it's all open, there are no quieter areas
